Loofah Dish Sponge

These loofah dish sponges are 100% biodegradable, have dual layers, and come in a 3-pack. While these sponges come flat and very stiff, once you run them under water they expand, and slightly soften. See product photos for a wet vs. dry comparison. They are excellent for scrubbing dishes, household cleaning or even an invigorating scrub in the shower! 

When you would like to disinfect your sponge, either rinse in vinegar, or submerge in boiling water for five minutes. Sponges should last several weeks, and then can be used for household cleaning and then composted (remember these are completely plant material).
